Skin Care

     The new issue of Thread is coming out in the next day or so, so I think it is now appropriate that I put up some pictures from my shoot. I shot the first cosmetics page that the magazine ever did and the topic was skin care. I will give an update when the issue comes out, about what pictures were used and what page the article is on. Right now I am working on the next issue and I and shooting the women of the Boxcar Burlesque group.

During fall quarter I had to take a photoshop class. Here are some of my projects. The eyes were my final project which was free topic. Feel free to tell me what you think!

Fête des lumières

Another reason I was so excited about going to France over break was because of the Festival of Lights in Lyon.

This is my favorite picture from the festival. it is a movie being projected into the mist of a fountain.

I also went to Lyon France where I wondered around the park across from the hotel and took some of these pictures.

Crazy Lashes

... Lived in a Shoe?

Yes while we were in Pennsylvania we visited a house shaped like a shoe. It was built in 1948 by a shoe maker named Mahlon N. Haines as an advertisement. He never actually lived in the house, but it was used as a guest house. It has five levels, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. I have no photos from the inside because it was not allowed, but I can tell you it was cramped but interesting.
